Evaluates and treats patients of all ages who suffered loss of upper extremity function, balance, coordination, perception, endurance, or present with decrease ability to perform ADLs due to trauma, surgery, or illnesses. This position creates a treatment plan based on the assessment findings and works with patients and family members to achieve the highest possible level of independence. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Essential Functions) Designs and executes treatment plan based on assessment findings. Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely. Educates patients and family members. Evaluates patients' upper extremity function and ADLs performance. Participates in multi- disciplinary meetings and case reviews. Supervises COTA as needed.
